Deepti Sharma's stellar all-around performance played a pivotal role in India's triumph. After contributing a patient 113-ball 67 in India's first-innings total of 428, she went on to dismantle the England lineup with a sensational 5.3-4-7-5 spell, helping the hosts secure a massive 292-run lead. In the second innings, Deepti continued her dominance, finishing with figures of 4/32. Although narrowly missing a 10-wicket match haul, she showcased exceptional skill with both bat and ball, receiving praise from her captain, Harmanpreet Kaur.

The hapless England side faced a swift downfall, getting bowled out for 131 in just 27.3 overs on Day 3. India claimed all 10 wickets in the first session, with Pooja Vastrakar making crucial breakthroughs.
